We are two sisters, late sixties, from St. Clair County, Michigan. In April of 2023, we bought an atlas map book of our state and started having fun. We mapped out trips and started crossing off pages. We went to every city, town, village, and locale page by page. We took pictures of the welcome signs when available; if not, we took pictures of the green MDOT signs or post offices, churches, and cemeteries.
In total, we have almost 1,500 photos and visited 503 locations that had no signs at all. We drove just under 40,000 miles and finished October 16th, 2025. To commemorate our trip, we had a poster printed featuring all of the signs that we collected, and we want to share it with you. Can you find your town?
